Inter Milan became the first team to secure a spot in this season’s UEFA Champions League final after a thrilling 4-3 victory over Barcelona in the second leg of the semifinals.

The first leg had ended in a 3-3 draw, but Inter overcame Barcelona in extra time at San Siro, with Davide Frattesi scoring the winning goal from Mehdi Taremi’s assist.

After the match, celebrations erupted, and Inter’s social media team posted a mocking message referencing their arch-rivals Real Madrid: “120 minutes at San Siro is a long time.”

This phrase is a direct nod to Real Madrid’s famous quote: “90 minutes at the Bernabéu is a long time.”

Inter will now face the winner of the Arsenal vs. Paris Saint-Germain semifinal in the final on May 31 in Munich.
