    Inzaghi Excludes Three Inter Players

Ahead of today’s match against Torino, Inter’s coach Simone Inzaghi sidelined three players.

According to reports, Inter is not only trying to delay Napoli’s title celebrations in Serie A but also managing player energy ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. As a result, several players were not even called up for today’s match against Torino.

Alongside Lautaro Martinez, three other key players—two starters and one likely substitute—will miss the game under Simone Inzaghi’s decision. These players are Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi, and Benjamin Pavard (who was also absent in the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona).

None of these three players have significant injuries, and unlike Lautaro’s different preparations, all three are expected to return to group training next week. However, their conditions vary: Mkhitaryan delivered a brilliant performance against Barcelona, but fatigue from that intense match is evident in his right thigh muscle. Frattesi, his midfield partner, played in the Champions League despite an abdominal muscle injury and scored a crucial goal in extra time.

He can now recover without the stress of this Serie A match. Pavard is in a similar situation; his ankle has almost healed, but the French defender needs to feel completely comfortable before returning to the starting lineup.

Other fatigued players, including Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries, and Kristjan Asllani, will be on the bench, while almost all remaining players from the previous match are available for the Torino clash.
