Strange Congratulations to Ancelotti: Italian School Triumphs
The President of the Italian Football Federation, in a congratulatory message to Carlo Ancelotti, described his appointment as the head coach of the Brazilian national team as a victory for Italian football.
According to reports, the Brazilian Football Federation officially announced Carlo Ancelotti as the new head coach of the national team after months of speculation. The President of the Italian Football Federation was among the first to congratulate the Italian coach.
Gabriele Gravina, President of the Italian Football Federation, said in his congratulatory message: “I am happy for Carlo Ancelotti. I know he is happy to coach Brazil, and I say Italian football is also happy about this.”
Gravina added, referring to Ancelotti as a symbol of Italian football and a member of the Italian Football Federation: “The fact that Brazilians have relied on him to lead their national team clearly shows that Italian coaches and the Italian football school currently stand at the pinnacle of world football.”
Ancelotti is set to depart for Brazil after the conclusion of the La Liga season. Following an official introduction ceremony, he will begin training with Brazil’s stars. Brazil, under his leadership, will face Ecuador on June 5.
