Italian Super Cup to Remain in Saudi Arabia
The Italian Super Cup will continue to be held in Saudi Arabia with a four-team final format, as officially confirmed by Serie A.
According to reports, the Italian Super Cup will still take place in Saudi Arabia with a four-team format. Serie A confirmed this for the 2025-26 season. So far, AC Milan and Bologna have qualified as Coppa Italia finalists, while Napoli and Inter Milan are likely to represent Serie A, pending mathematical confirmation.
Serie A stated: “Ultimately, the interest of Saudi organizers to host the next edition of the Super Cup with a four-team format was confirmed.”
However, the exact date of the competition has not yet been announced, but it is expected to take place between late December and January. For example, in 2025, this was the first European trophy awarded. This marks the third consecutive edition of the Italian Super Cup being held in Saudi Arabia.
