Only Yamal and Raphinha Are Safe
Major Overhaul: Eight Players to Leave Barcelona!
Barcelona is set for a busy summer, with Sport claiming that eight players will leave the club to make room for contract renewals of current stars and new signings.
According to reports, Barcelona has had an incredible season, having already won the Super Cup and Copa del Rey, and is on the verge of clinching the La Liga title. However, the club plans a major squad overhaul this summer.
Sport reports that Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, has made it clear that only Lamine Yamal and Raphinha are untouchable. After internal discussions with coach Hansi Flick, a list of eight players to be sold or loaned out has been finalized.
Sport claims that Barcelona is finally determined to sell Ansu Fati. Surprisingly, Pablo Gavi is also on the list. If a suitable offer arrives, Barcelona will not hesitate to sell him.
Other players on the exit list include Iñaki Peña, Ronald Araújo, Héctor Fort, Fermín López, and Pau Victor.
Except for Gavi, the rest of the eight-player list consists of expected departures. All eyes are now on the remaining matches. Once the season ends, Deco and Hansi Flick will begin rebuilding a stronger and more complete squad.
