In a recent interview published by Bild, Manuel Neuer, Bayern Munich’s captain, discussed these events.
Neuer first spoke about the emotional farewell of his close friend Thomas Müller: “Honestly, it was both a beautiful and sad moment. I’ve played many games alongside Müller, and he played a huge role in our shared successes. Together, we won 12 league titles. I will definitely miss him.”
The 38-year-old captain then added about Harry Kane’s first career trophy: “I’m proud that he celebrated his first trophy with Bayern Munich. Harry truly deserved it. Considering his career performances and contributions to his teams, Kane was worthy of this celebration. I’m glad we could share this honor with him.”
