According to reports, Williams responded to a question from DAZN about whether he could shine as brightly as Lamine Yamal did in the recent Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid during the UEFA Europa League semifinal against Manchester United. He firmly replied, “No,” and then joked about it.

The Athletic Bilbao winger, who had excellent coordination with Yamal during Spain’s Euro 2024 victory last summer, added: “No, I’m not as good as that damn guy! His game was incredible; I watched it.”
