I didn’t say I’m leaving now
Pep Guardiola clarifies controversial news
The Manchester City manager spoke to Sky Sports ahead of the match against Wolverhampton to explain the news that was published about him today.
According to Varzesh3, Pep explained what he meant by his comments yesterday about taking a break after leaving Manchester City.
He said: “I didn’t say I’m leaving now or at the end of the season. If they fire me, yes! I said when my time here is over, I don’t know if it’s one year, two years, three years, four years, or five years from now, I will take a break. This doesn’t mean I’m retiring, but I will definitely take some time off. Do you know what a two-year contract means for a football manager? It’s like an eternity! I mean, when my work here is done, I will take a break. I just need to stop for a while, that’s all.”
