According to reports, the legal battle between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé continues. The dispute began in early April when the French forward sued PSG for €55 million, alleging unpaid wages from his final months at the club. Additionally, he claims he received none of the promised bonuses. PSG’s lawyers, however, argue that Mbappé has failed to provide sufficient evidence to support his claims.

On Monday, PSG’s legal team, led by Thomas Azaro, formally requested the court to overturn the decision to award Mbappé the €55 million. The Parisian club went further, stating: “In reality, it is Kylian Mbappé who owes the club. His approach to this case has caused us financial harm, and he is the one indebted to us.”

The club’s lawyer added: “Our goal is not to recover €98 million but to prove that if he owes us, then his own claims are baseless.”

PSG asserts that they have spent nearly a year trying to resolve the matter amicably and continue their progress, but Mbappé refuses to cooperate, aiming only to damage the club—especially at a time when PSG has reached the peak of its success.

Sources close to the legal proceedings stated: “Kylian Mbappé demanded everything from PSG, took it all, and then tried to escape and steal everything, hoping no one would notice—just because he is Kylian Mbappé. The irony is that he mocks the club that gave him everything, despite insisting on his special status. His statement, ‘I am not Kylian Saint-Germain,’ is the exact opposite of the truth.”

Nearly a year has passed since Mbappé left PSG to join Real Madrid—a departure that sparked this legal feud. The final verdict will be delivered on May 26, when both parties are summoned to court, marking the end of this saga, whether in favor of one side or the other.
