Simone Inzaghi’s Tough Mission: Victory Without Three Stars
Simone Inzaghi faces a difficult challenge to secure a win against Torino in the absence of key players.
Inter Milan is preparing for their Serie A match against Torino, just days after their dramatic 4-3 victory over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League semifinals.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Lautaro Martinez, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Benjamin Pavard will not be available for Simone Inzaghi in tomorrow’s match against Torino. Martinez, who recovered quickly to play 71 minutes against Barcelona, may not be fit enough. Mkhitaryan played nearly 80 minutes, while Pavard remains sidelined due to an ankle injury. Di Marzio also mentioned that Davide Frattesi’s availability is uncertain.
Inter Milan currently sits second in Serie A, three points behind Napoli, with only three matches remaining in the season. Napoli will host Genoa on Sunday, while Inter’s result against Torino will be known beforehand. The question remains whether Inzaghi can keep his team in the title race without his star players.
