Crystal Palace, led by Oliver Glasner, has achieved remarkable success by reaching the FA Cup final, set to take place on May 17 at Wembley against Manchester City.

However, Glasner is frustrated that his players are entirely focused on the match against Manchester City, seemingly forgetting that the Premier League season is not yet over.

Crystal Palace has two league matches before the final against Man City. They face Nottingham Forest on Monday night. A win in this match is crucial for Glasner, as it would allow Crystal Palace to break their all-time points record in England.

The Austrian manager had previously urged his players not to think about the final and instead focus on setting a new Premier League record after their 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in the FA Cup semifinal. However, seeing that his words had little effect, Glasner gathered all the players in the dressing room yesterday and declared that talking or even thinking about Manchester City and the final is strictly prohibited until further notice.

Glasner also told reporters in the pre-match press conference against Nottingham Forest: “The best preparation for the FA Cup final is to play well and get good results against both Forest and Tottenham.” Glasner is no stranger to winning major trophies, having lifted the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022.
