According to reports, Bayern Munich faced Gladbach in what was Thomas Müller’s last home game. His contract expires after the Club World Cup and will not be renewed.

In the stands, football legends gathered to witness Müller’s final home appearance. Among them were two special people: his mother Claudia and father Gerhard. Claudia Müller was deeply moved as she watched her son’s last match at Allianz Arena up close! She had previously been the unsung hero in the documentary “Thomas Müller – One Like No Other.”

Usually, Müller’s parents sit in the lower rows reserved for family and friends, but for the match against Gladbach, they were allowed to be in the arena’s VIP section.

Before the match, Bayern Munich held a farewell ceremony for Thomas Müller. As a gift, the club presented him with a photo alongside all his trophies and also gave him an “Eishobel” (a symbolic card from the traditional Schafkopf game).

Müller lifted his last Bundesliga trophy with Bayern Munich in this match and hopes to add one final honor to his legacy by winning the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States in June.
