Final Decision: Barcelona Forward Wants to Leave
Pau Victor no longer wishes to continue his collaboration with FC Barcelona.
According to reports, Victor has decided to leave Barcelona this summer. This is a difficult and complex decision, but he knows well that if he wants to progress, he cannot continue with this lack of playing time. He has multiple offers, both from Spain and abroad. He has options on the table and is free to choose.
Barcelona also intends to facilitate his departure but will only agree if they can maintain some control over his future, either through a buy-back clause or a loan deal.
Barcelona paid around €2.5 million to Girona for his transfer, and his contract runs until 2029, so the club wants to monitor his progress. The player’s decision is clear. At 23, he is part of the academy’s young players and does not belong to the older foreign group in the squad.
His statistics reflect his situation: he has played in 19 matches but only started in two, both in less important games. He knows he cannot afford another goalless season.
Several La Liga clubs have also expressed interest in signing him. His time at Barcelona has naturally increased his market value, but Victor is looking for a well-considered move and does not want to make a mistake.
