Juventus’ patience runs out: Heavy fine for the offending star
Juventus management intends to impose a serious fine on Pierre Kalulu due to his red card against Lazio.
According to “Varzesh3,” Juventus was held to a 1-1 draw away against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. Before the match, the two teams were level on points in the standings, competing for the last remaining spot in the top four of Serie A alongside Roma and one point ahead of Bologna.
The Bianconeri took the lead with a goal from Randall Kolo Muani in the 51st minute, but Kalulu’s unnecessary red card for violent conduct in the 60th minute turned the tide, and Lazio eventually equalized in the 96th minute, leaving Juventus with only one point from the match.
Kalulu is the second Juventus player in the last three matches to be sent off for violent conduct. Earlier, Kenan Yıldız was shown a straight red card during the 2-0 win over Monza and received a two-match suspension.
It is predicted that Kalulu will also face a two-match suspension, which would mean his season in Serie A has effectively ended. He is expected to return to the squad for the Club World Cup, which begins in mid-June.
Now, Italian sources like Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus intends to impose a fine of between €50,000 and €60,000 on the player for his behavior during the match against Lazio, as a warning to other players to prevent such incidents from recurring.
