According to reports, FIFA officially unveiled the slogan and logo for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar on Monday. The logo, designed with an artistic vision for the future of football, emphasizes celebrating young talents and their rise from local fields to the global stage.

The tournament, scheduled from November 3 to 27, will feature 48 national teams in the U-17 category, with a total of 104 matches. Qatar, building on its successful experience in hosting major tournaments, is preparing to inspire the next generation of footballers.

The logo’s design incorporates vibrant colors, reflecting the dynamism and global nature of football, symbolizing the discovery and nurturing of future stars. The graphic representation depicts the championship trophy as a luminous beacon, inspiring energy, motivation, and dreams for the new generation of footballers.

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Qatar’s Minister of Sports and Youth and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, stated: “The unveiling of this logo marks the beginning of one of the most important football events in Qatar’s sporting calendar over the next five years. This tournament is part of our commitment to developing football and nurturing the next generation of athletes.”

He added: “Hosting the first edition of the U-17 World Cup with 48 teams is a unique opportunity to inspire young players. They will experience Qatar’s advanced facilities, which could be the start of a brilliant journey for them.”

Matthias Grafström, FIFA Secretary General, said: “The U-17 World Cup has always been a launchpad for football’s brightest talents. The new slogan symbolizes teamwork, youthful courage, and optimism—elements that will be clearly visible in Qatar this autumn.”

This year’s edition will feature a new format, with Germany, the defending champions (Indonesia 2023), aiming to retain their title. The tournament draw is scheduled for May 25 in Doha.

The event will provide a fresh opportunity for the world to witness the next generation of football stars before they shine at the senior level.
