    Fans of Dynamo Dresden celebrated for nearly a full day after their beloved team secured promotion to Bundesliga 2.

    According to reports, Dynamo Dresden has returned to Bundesliga 2 after several years of absence and now has hopes of further promotion to the Bundesliga next season.

    The confirmation of promotion for this historic and popular club sparked immense joy among Dynamo Dresden supporters. The celebration began at their home stadium, the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion, where players and nearly 4,000 fans who had taken over the western stands rejoiced for about half an hour.

    Claudio Kammerknecht, Dynamo’s defender, said after securing promotion: “We finally did it. It feels like a weight has been lifted, and I’m happy to see our fans so joyful.”

    The celebration continued as some fans returned home on the team bus, turning the streets into a sea of red lights. Late at night, the team bus made its way through the glowing streets.

    The festivities continued into the early morning hours when the team arrived at the training center at 1:52 AM, greeted by around 3,000 enthusiastic fans who had waited for hours to witness the moment.

    The street in front of the Walter-Fritzsch Academy was transformed into a red sea of torches as the bus honked its way through. Fireworks lit up the sky, visible and audible from miles away.

    Later, team members briefly appeared on the training pitch, where chants and songs echoed like a rock concert.

    Captain Stefan Kutschke addressed the crowd via microphone: “We made it—for you, for us, and for this city. There will be tougher times ahead, but for now, let’s enjoy this victory.”

    Dynamo Dresden Fans

    The final celebration took place the next day, with 20,000 Dynamo fans gathering in the city center. When the team arrived on a large truck at 2 PM, another wave of joy erupted.

    Nearly 20,000 supporters cheered as the team slowly made its way through the crowd. Now, they can hope for another grand celebration—this time, for promotion to the Bundesliga.
