Scaloni is the latest figure to praise the performance of one of Barcelona’s stars in a conversation with YouTube channel Ciro Lopez.

When asked about the best footballers in the world currently, he stated: “I put Messi aside because he is unique. After that, we have to talk about Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, Julian Alvarez, or Lautaro Martinez.”

The Argentina coach also responded to a question about the best lineup in football history: “Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta as midfielders, and Lionel Messi as the right winger. Gianluigi Buffon in goal, Cafu, Paolo Maldini, Nesta, and Alessandro Nesta in defense, Silva in midfield, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo Nazario in attack are also part of this lineup.”
