No Bus Parade: Manchester United to Celebrate Potential Europa League Win with a BBQ!
If Manchester United wins the Europa League, they will host a simple barbecue celebration at their Carrington training ground instead of an open-top bus parade.
According to reports, if Manchester United defeats Tottenham in the Europa League final, they will opt for a modest barbecue celebration rather than a grand open-top bus parade.
The Red Devils have had a disappointing Premier League campaign this season and are already under heavy criticism for their poor results. However, they hope to end the season on a high by winning the Europa League, even if the celebration is low-key.
Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham’s Australian manager, might be more familiar with barbecues due to his background! On the other hand, reports suggest Manchester United’s management plans to organize one of the simplest title celebrations in the club’s illustrious history.
This decision is largely due to their packed schedule at the end of May. After the final on Wednesday (May 21), United must host Aston Villa in their last Premier League match on Sunday of the same week.
Following that, the players will embark on a grueling 15-hour trip to Asia for commercial friendlies in Kuala Lumpur (May 28) and Hong Kong (May 30).
Interestingly, if United wins the title, the barbecue celebration might be even simpler than expected, as major construction work is currently underway at Carrington. The modest event is scheduled for the day after the final and will include players, coaching staff, and their families.
It is worth noting that Manchester United has not held an open-top bus parade since 2013. That last celebration marked their 20th Premier League title and the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson after 27 golden years of dominance.
