A late goal from Jacob Ramon postponed Barcelona’s title celebrations! Real Madrid faced Mallorca knowing that if they didn’t secure three points, Barcelona would be crowned champions tonight. Despite trailing 1-0, they fought hard, with Kylian Mbappe scoring before Jacob Ramon sealed the 2-1 victory in the dying seconds.

    Lineups:

Real Madrid: Courtois, Fran Garcia, Asensio, Jacob Ramon, Fede Valverde, Ceballos, Modric, Arda Guler, Bellingham, Endrick, Mbappe

Mallorca: Roman, Muri, Valjent, Raillo, Copete, Lato, Samu, Sanchez, Darder, Moragues, Larin

The first chance of the game fell to Real Madrid. Endrick found himself one-on-one but his shot was well saved by the goalkeeper.

However, in the 11th minute, Mallorca nearly handed Barcelona the title. Martin Valjent capitalized on a defensive error from Real Madrid and slotted the ball past Thibaut Courtois to make it 1-0.

In the 11th minute, a pass from behind the box reached Valjent, who scored Mallorca’s first goal with a weak shot into the corner.

Real Madrid dominated the rest of the half, but Roman, Mallorca’s goalkeeper, kept them at bay. In the 19th minute, Mbappe set up Bellingham, but his shot was saved.

Bellingham had another chance 10 minutes later, but Roman denied him again.

With Mallorca defending deep, long-range shots were one of Real Madrid’s few tactics. In the 37th minute, Luka Modric tried his luck with a stunning strike, but Roman, seemingly playing for Barcelona, saved it.

At the start of the second half, Real Madrid continued to press. Endrick and Bellingham both tested Roman, but the keeper stood firm.

In the 68th minute, Kylian Mbappe finally broke through and scored, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Barcelona’s title celebrations.
