Major Concern for Rúben Amorim Before the Final: Manchester United Left Defenseless!
Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Aidan Heon trained individually today due to injuries during Manchester United’s practice session.
According to reports, with only one week left until the Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham at the San Mamés Stadium, three players from Rúben Amorim’s squad were absent from today’s group training due to injuries.
As reported by The Sun, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Aidan Heon trained individually today and are unlikely to feature in Manchester United’s upcoming match against Chelsea.
Yoro left the field during Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat against West Ham due to a calf injury, while de Ligt had also suffered an injury a week earlier against Brentford.
Youngster Aidan Heon, despite being in better condition than de Ligt and Yoro, was also absent from today’s training session, which included Jonny Evans and Toby Collyer. Additionally, Diogo Dalot participated in today’s group training and may be available for the Europa League final, but Lisandro Martínez and Joshua Zirkzee will both be absent until the end of the season.
The Europa League final will take place next Wednesday at the San Mamés Stadium, with both Manchester United and Tottenham hoping to end their turbulent seasons on a high note with a potential European trophy.
