Argentine Star’s Patience Runs Out
Lionel Messi’s Strange Anger: Referee Threatened Him!
Lionel Messi strongly protested against the refereeing team in the final moments of the match against San Jose Earthquakes.
Inter Miami faced San Jose Earthquakes last night in a thrilling MLS match, ending in a 3-3 draw, extending their winless streak.
After a brilliant move, Messi was seemingly fouled in what many consider his golden zone for free kicks. He expected a whistle for the foul but instead, the referee stopped play for offside.
The Argentine star, visibly furious, stormed toward the refereeing team, shouting in protest. Players and coaching staff, including San Jose’s head coach Bruce Arena, tried to calm him down.
At that moment, one of the referees, clearly unhappy with Messi’s behavior, threatened him, saying: “Do you want me to send you off?” Though no red card was shown, Messi’s anger highlighted the tense situation at Inter Miami.
