Travis Scott’s High Chance
American Rapper on Barcelona’s El Clásico Jersey
Barcelona once again intends to change the Spotify logo on their jersey for the return leg of La Liga’s El Clásico against Real Madrid on May 11.
According to reports, the latest information suggests that American rapper Travis Scott has been chosen to appear on the Blaugrana jersey. The newspaper ‘Diario Ara’ reported that Travis Scott was ultimately preferred over other candidates, such as British singer Ed Sheeran.
Pending official confirmation, Travis Scott will be the sixth artist after Drake, Rosalía, The Rolling Stones, Karol G, and Coldplay to feature on Barcelona’s jersey in El Clásico.
Travis Scott, 33, is one of the most popular rappers with a massive fanbase and one of the most streamed artists globally, aligning with Barcelona and Spotify’s criteria for featuring on the El Clásico jersey. His recent appearance at the Coachella festival last Sunday supports this claim.
With less than a month left until the league match between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Montjuïc, it will soon be revealed what the Catalan club’s sponsor will be for El Clásico.
