According to reports, the English Football Association (FA) has announced that Frank Lampard, Coventry City’s manager, has been suspended due to improper conduct during his team’s recent Championship match.

The FA stated that Lampard displayed inappropriate behavior after his team’s match against Burnley, using offensive language towards the referee.

As a result, he has been handed a one-match suspension and fined £2,000. The FA’s statement confirmed that Lampard admitted to his offensive remarks during discussions with the governing body.

This means he will not be able to accompany his team in the 42nd round of the Championship against Hull City. Coventry City currently sits in sixth place in the Championship table with 62 points, still hopeful for promotion with six weeks remaining in the season.

Lampard took charge of Coventry City in November and has since secured 14 wins, five draws, and eight losses while managing the former club of Viktor Gyökeres.
