Thomas Muller, Bayern Munich’s forward, says he can still be a decisive threat in his team’s attack.

Muller's Warning to Inter: I'm Still Dangerous!

According to reports, in the 2-1 loss to Inter last week, 35-year-old Thomas Muller surprisingly started on the bench but scored after coming on. In the 2-2 draw against Dortmund, Muller started and shone as an attacking force.

Now, Muller must save the home final! Bayern must win in Milan to keep their hopes alive for the May 31 final in Munich.

Muller, however, refuses to call it a ‘miracle in Milan’: “I find this question quite silly. I don’t know if a one-goal victory should be called a miracle or not.”

In the match against Dortmund, Muller once again proved his presence increases Bayern’s chances of winning. He assisted Raphael Guerreiro’s goal, created several great chances, and even brilliantly redirected Harry Kane’s shot with his heel before halftime. Muller consistently managed Bayern’s pressing structure by directing his teammates. As usual, even during goal celebrations, he was seen giving tactical instructions to Serge Gnabry, the goal scorer.

Muller is ready for Milan: “We could have easily beaten Dortmund 5-2. We had good energy. Today, we saw many signs of what we need for Wednesday.”

When Muller was benched in the first leg, questions arose about his fitness. He responded: “Naturally, I also feel I’m not 20 anymore; I’m not blind to that. But I still notice that I can be present in dangerous moves inside and around the penalty area. I can still be a serious threat for my team.”

Uli Hoeness, the club’s honorary president, revealed in an interview with Welt am Sonntag that he dreamed Muller would score a crucial goal in the Champions League final in Munich.

Muller also told ZDF’s sports program: “I think people have the right to dream. Honestly, I haven’t had this dream myself, but I find it very beautiful and poetic.”

Thomas Muller leads Bayern towards the home final, which could be the ideal end to his 25-year tenure at the club.
