According to reports, Real Madrid has mobilized all club resources for tomorrow night’s match against Arsenal at the Bernabeu. The club believes that if everyone—from the club to the fans and Carlo Ancelotti’s team—gives their all, a miraculous comeback from the 3-0 defeat is possible.

However, Real knows how difficult this will be. They must score more than three goals (or at least three to take the game to penalties) against an Arsenal side that has not conceded more than two goals in any of their last 79 matches. But above all, Real is counting on the Bernabeu and its fans.

Real Madrid fans are working hard these days to make the Bernabeu atmosphere as intimidating as possible for Arsenal. The largest welcome in history is planned for Real’s bus in the streets of Madrid. Fans were curious to see what the club and fan groups had planned for the tifo or mosaic display at the Bernabeu.

    Real Madrid Tifo Controversy

After the first images of the mosaic design were released, fans expressed strong dissatisfaction. According to the released information, all stands will be filled with fans wearing white shirts, creating a white backdrop, and then a large banner will be unfurled. The banner features an image of a Real Madrid player with bulging eyes, holding the Champions League trophy above his head and screaming. Above the banner, the phrase: “The Champions League is my obsession” is written.

The release of this image on social media has faced severe criticism. Real Madrid fans are deeply unhappy with both the design and the slogan. Most fans say this tifo is not only unsuitable for a magical night at the Bernabeu but could also be considered the worst in the club’s history.

One fan wrote on X: “It can’t get worse than this. If you display this, you will disgrace us.” Another fan said: “For God’s sake, throw this away. You’re tarnishing the club’s name.”

The newspaper Marca reports that the volume of criticism is so high that it seems almost certain the club will discard this design in the coming hours and urgently prepare an alternative.
