According to Akşam, Fenerbahçe is not interested in extending the Bosnian striker’s contract and is instead evaluating Thomas Müller, the experienced Bayern Munich forward who will depart the Bavarians at the end of the season.

Fenerbahçe’s budget for next season is limited, prompting the club to focus entirely on signing Müller.

Ali Koç, Fenerbahçe’s president, has assured the board that their pursuit of Müller will not depend on whether they win the league this season.

Fenerbahçe currently sits second in the Turkish Süper Lig with 71 points, trailing Galatasaray by three points as they push for the title.

The Turkish newspaper also suggests Fiorentina as the most likely destination for Džeko, though the veteran striker has received offers from other clubs. Džeko has scored 19 goals and provided 7 assists in the Süper Lig this season, proving crucial for José Mourinho.
