Yuste told RAC1 about the team’s qualification: “You suffer because everything depends on you. This is a winning team, and with Hansi Flick and his staff, Deco, and other board members, we are a competitive team hungry for titles. Our goal was to reach the semi-finals, and we achieved it.”

Yuste admitted that reaching this stage was unimaginable months ago: “If you told me a few months ago, I would have said it’s very difficult. Nobody expected us to be here with Flick, who recently arrived but has a strong history with Bayern Munich and the German national team. But I say we haven’t won anything yet. We must be realistic and humble.”

Regarding Mbappe’s one-match suspension for a foul on Blanco against Alaves, Yuste said: “That foul and this suspension are completely ridiculous. The scene was shocking and could have seriously injured the player. This decision is a scandal.”
