According to reports, Thomas Müller will leave his beloved Bayern Munich at the end of the 2024-25 season, and sources in Germany suggest that Italian club Fiorentina is among the teams interested in signing him for the 2025-26 season.

Müller, who has spent his entire professional career at Bayern Munich and has worn the club’s jersey for 25 years, recently confirmed that he will leave the Allianz Arena when his current contract expires at the end of this season.

However, the experienced German forward has yet to make an official decision about his next career move. Recent reports indicate that Major League Soccer (MLS) is the most likely destination. German outlet Bild claims that MLS executives recently held a meeting in Chicago and concluded that Müller’s transfer to the U.S. would benefit the league.

If this move materializes, Los Angeles FC, which has a commercial partnership with Bayern Munich, would be the most probable destination. However, several other clubs outside the U.S. are also keen on signing Müller.

Bild reports that teams from England, Turkey, and Italy are interested in acquiring Müller for the 2025-26 season, with Fiorentina being the only European club specifically named in Wednesday’s report as having already initiated efforts to sign him.
