Al-Nassr’s Head Coach Alfred Schreuder Confirms Departure at End of Season
Schreuder officially announced that he will leave Al-Nassr at the end of the season.
Dutch coach Alfred Schreuder of Al-Nassr confirmed that he will not lead the team next season and will leave at the end of the current season.
Schreuder stated in a press conference before Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Sharjah in the league: “I would like to thank Abdullah bin Toq, chairman of Al-Nassr’s board of directors, Abdullah Al-Tayer, board member, and all the board members who resigned from their positions.”
He added: “This news was very upsetting for me. This was the first board I worked with at Al-Nassr. They always supported me, and I would like to tell them: I am sincerely grateful for everything.”
Schreuder also spoke about his future: “After this season ends, I will no longer be with the team. Only six matches remain, and after that, I will leave the club. It’s good to announce now that I am very happy to be at this club, and we will do our best to finish the season in the best possible way.”
