Uzbekistan to Face Saudi Arabia in AFC U-17 Asian Cup Final
The Uzbekistan U-17 national team has secured a place in the final of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup after a dominant performance.
The Uzbekistan U-17 national team advanced to the final of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup with a convincing 3-0 victory over North Korea in the semifinals.
The match, held on Thursday in Saudi Arabia, saw Sadriddin Khasanov open the scoring in the 31st minute. Jamshedbek Rakhmatov and Abubakir Shukrullaev then added two more goals in the 62nd and 65th minutes, sealing Uzbekistan’s place in the final.
North Korea played with 10 men from the 40th minute after midfielder Kang Myong-bom received a second yellow card and was sent off.
With this result, Uzbekistan will face Saudi Arabia in the final. The Saudi team secured their place after a 1-1 draw in regulation time, followed by a 3-1 victory on penalties against South Korea.
The final will be played next Sunday at King Fahd Stadium in Taif.
