First Trailer Released for Real Madrid Star’s Documentary
Vini’s Journey: From Favela to Conquering Europe
The first teaser for Vinicius Junior’s Netflix documentary has received widespread attention.
Netflix announced that the long-promised documentary about Vinicius Junior’s life and football career will premiere on May 15th.
The production team lived with Vinicius for months with Real Madrid’s permission to capture his journey from Brazilian favelas to nearly winning the Ballon d’Or – a life intertwined with racism that made him a symbol against discrimination.
Today, Netflix and Vinicius simultaneously released the first teaser for the documentary titled “Baila, Vini”, which immediately went viral.
The teaser shows key moments from Vinicius’s life: his family, unseen childhood footage from Brazil’s dangerous streets, joining Real Madrid, facing racism, and winning major trophies including two Champions League titles.
The trailer reveals several football stars appearing in the documentary to discuss Vinicius, including Neymar, Jude Bellingham, Toni Kroos, Roberto Carlos, and Karim Benzema.
