As reported by Varzesh3, Bild has revealed that Fiorentina has expressed interest in signing Thomas Müller, the veteran German star, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

Müller, 35, has spent his entire professional career at Bayern Munich, winning 33 titles with the club, in addition to the 2014 FIFA World Cup with the German national team. He has yet to make a final decision on whether to retire or continue playing for another club.

Interestingly, Fiorentina has previously signed two players after their departure from Bayern Munich. The first was Mario Gomez, the striker who played for the Bavarian side in the past, wearing Fiorentina’s jersey from 2013 to 2015.

The second Bayern legend to join Fiorentina was French winger Franck Ribéry, who left Bayern in the summer of 2019 after 10 years and played in Serie A with Fiorentina until 2021. If Müller’s move to Fiorentina materializes, he will become the third Bayern star to join the Italian club after leaving the Allianz Arena.
