Wrong Tickets Distributed to El Clásico Spectators!

Several members of FC Barcelona who purchased tickets for the Copa del Rey final faced issues when trying to receive their tickets for the match against Real Madrid, scheduled for next Saturday at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville.

A widespread error in ticket distribution included incorrect names and ID numbers that did not match the buyers’ information.

In response, One Box, the ticket sales operator for the Spanish Football Federation, issued a statement attributing the issue to a “human error in the system” and clarified that FC Barcelona had no involvement in the problem.

    The statement read:

“We hereby inform you that the error in the registered information on the Copa del Rey final tickets was due to a human error in the Spanish Football Federation’s ticket sales system during the administrative management of the winners’ list.
After an internal review, it was determined that this error resulted from a human mistake in data matching. We take full responsibility for this incident and emphasize that FC Barcelona had no involvement or responsibility in this matter.
We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience this error may have caused. We assure you that the necessary steps have been taken to rectify the situation. You will soon be able to download your tickets with the correct names. We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience and remain at your service as always.”

Shortly afterward, FC Barcelona also released a statement demanding further accountability: “FC Barcelona considers the issue caused by the Spanish Football Federation and One Box in distributing the Copa del Rey final tickets unacceptable and states that this was beyond the club’s control.
We also inform you that the club’s legal department will investigate whether this incident may have harmed our members, fan clubs, and supporters and will take legal action against those responsible.”
