Crystal Palace’s Message to Liverpool: You Didn’t Have the Ability!
Crystal Palace sent a message to Liverpool on social media after their 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
Liverpool moved one step closer to securing their 20th Premier League title, thanks to Crystal Palace’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal, even though they didn’t play a match. Due to Palace’s involvement in the FA Cup, Arsenal played on Wednesday night. Despite leading twice against Oliver Glasner’s side, they had to settle for a 2-2 draw—their 13th stalemate of the season.
With this result, the maximum points Arsenal can now achieve at the end of the season (after 38 matches) is 79. This means Liverpool, who currently have more points, can secure the Premier League title with a draw against Tottenham on Sunday.
Liverpool will host Ange Postecoglou’s team on Sunday. If Arne Slot’s side avoids defeat, they will claim their 20th English league title.
Following their draw against Arsenal and their indirect help to Liverpool, Crystal Palace posted a cheeky message on social media. The club wrote on X: “Liverpool… you didn’t have the ability.”
