Real Valladolid to Be Sold After 7 Years
Ronaldo’s Resistance Broken: The Club Will Be Sold
Ronaldo Nazario has agreed to sell Real Valladolid. After intense protests from fans, the Brazilian football legend decided to relinquish ownership of the club.
According to reports, Ronaldo Nazario is on the verge of selling Real Valladolid, despite previously opposing the sale. Spanish newspaper AS claims that Ronaldo has already signed a preliminary agreement, making the sale certain. However, details about the buyer and the transfer fee remain undisclosed due to a confidentiality clause.
AS reports that negotiations suggest the sale price will be around €40 million. While the identity of the buyer is unclear, a Mexican consortium, previously interested in purchasing the club, along with partners the Fernández brothers, are likely candidates. An Egyptian consortium has also expressed interest in the past.
Ronaldo Nazario has owned Real Valladolid for seven years. Recently, tensions between him and the fans escalated, with supporters demanding his departure. In recent months, Ronaldo has minimized his involvement in the club’s operations, attending only one match in the last four months.
