Salah: This Title is Better Than the One with Klopp!

According to reports, Liverpool secured their 20th top-flight English football title with a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday, creating an unassailable lead over second-placed Arsenal. Salah scored the fourth goal with a left-footed strike from inside the box, extending his lead in the Premier League Golden Boot race by six goals. This marks Liverpool’s second title since 1990, with jubilant scenes erupting at the stadium after the final whistle.
These scenes were vastly different from 2020, when Liverpool played their final 10 matches of the title-winning season behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Liverpool entered the 2020 season with high expectations, but this season, following the departures of Jurgen Klopp and several other key stars, few predicted their success.

Salah told Sky Sports after Sunday’s title win:“This title is definitely much better, 100%. Without Sadio (Mane), without Jurgen himself, without Bobby (Firmino), without all those players, this title feels more special. We have a different group now, a different manager, so being able to win it again is truly more special.”

When asked if Arne Slot has made him a better player, Salah joked:“You can check the stats—it seems so! He’s very honest. He has a tough personality, but he made our job easier because from the beginning, it was very clear what he expected from us, and we delivered. Now I don’t have to defend as much. The tactics are completely different. I told him: ‘As long as you ask me to defend less, I’ll take care of the attacking part.’ I’m glad I did. He listened to me a lot, and you can see my stats.”
