Thierry Henry:
Arsenal Won’t Surrender, It’s Not Over Yet!
Thierry Henry believes Arsenal’s Champions League journey is not over yet.
According to reports, Arsenal faced Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinals at the Emirates Stadium and lost 1-0 after Ousmane Dembélé scored in the 4th minute.
Now, the Gunners must prepare for a tough return leg at the Parc des Princes on May 7th to stage a comeback for a spot in the final. Henry hasn’t lost hope yet, though he admits PSG was far superior in London.
Henry told CBS Sports after the match: “There’s still one more game. You never know what might happen. PSG was much better in this match, so Arsenal needs significant changes to defeat them in Paris. The return leg will be a completely different battle.
But as soon as Dembélé left the pitch, PSG sat deeper. It became easier for Arsenal to apply pressure because Dembélé wasn’t there to recover the ball. But as I said, we’re still in the competition. Anything can happen.”
