Newcastle 4-1 United: Amorim’s Never-Ending Nightmare
Manchester United suffered a 4-1 defeat at Newcastle, making the situation even more dire for Rúben Amorim.
According to reports, Manchester United were thrashed 4-1 by Newcastle at St James’ Park. United conceded the first goal from Sandro Tonali but Alejandro Garnacho equalized, leaving the first half level. In the second half, after Harvey Barnes’ goal, two mistakes from United allowed Barnes and Bruno Guimarães to score two more, sealing a 4-1 victory for Newcastle.

Less than ten minutes later, United’s series of mistakes was complete. This time, Bayındır made a horrific error, gifting the ball to Newcastle, allowing Bruno Guimarães to score.
The match ended 4-1 in Newcastle’s favor. Manchester United remained in 14th place with 38 points, while Newcastle moved ahead of Manchester City into fourth, strengthening their Champions League hopes.
