Scandal in Bundesliga: Fight During Wolfsburg Training!
Mohamed Amoura and Joachim Möhle, Wolfsburg players, clashed during the team’s training session.
According to reports, Mohamed Amoura and Joachim Möhle got into a fight during Wolfsburg’s training session—an altercation that started verbally but escalated into a physical confrontation!
Ralph Hasenhüttl, the team’s head coach, commented on the incident:“Something happened that sometimes occurs in football. There were a lot of emotions involved. One of the players crossed the line. This incident is not pleasant at all. There was no need for them to go at each other. Certain rules must be respected; otherwise, there will be consequences.”
After seven consecutive winless matches, losing their season goal (qualifying for European competitions), and Hasenhüttl’s uncertain future despite a contract valid until 2026, it seems the players’ mental state has also been affected.
Reports indicate that Mohamed Amoura initiated the fight. He was subsequently excluded from team training. Hasenhüttl said:“We had to clarify the situation first.” However, the two players have since reconciled and apologized to the entire team.
Amoura later returned to training. Whether he will be excluded from the squad for the upcoming match against Dortmund remains unclear. Hasenhüttl stated:“We will handle the punishment internally. What’s important is that we address the matter transparently. The two players must also reconcile.” He emphasized: “It’s crucial for the rest of the team that this matter is dealt with properly and firmly.”
However, it is unlikely that Amoura and Möhle will become close friends in the future. There have been previous disagreements between the two players. Hasenhüttl added:“They always annoy each other. If both are having a good day, nothing happens; but that day was probably not a good one for them, and tempers flared quickly.”
