UEFA’s seasonal coefficient system is straightforward. Teams earn 2 points for a win (1 point in qualifying or playoff stages), 1 point for a draw (0.5 points in qualifying or playoff stages), and 0 points for a loss.
Teams also receive additional points based on their standings in the 2024-25 league phase. The top-ranked team in the Champions League earns 12,000 bonus points, the Europa League winner gets 6,000 points, and the Conference League winner receives 4,000 points. These bonuses decrease by 0.250 points for each lower rank.
Teams gain an extra 1.5 points for advancing to the round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals.
