French Star’s Regret After Dismissal
Mbappe Apologizes to Teammates and Alaves Player
Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid forward, apologized to his teammates and an Alaves player after being sent off in their match.
According to reports, Real Madrid faced Alaves in the 31st week of La Liga and secured a 1-0 victory with a goal from Eduardo Camavinga. During the match, Mbappe was sent off, forcing Real to finish the game with 10 men.
The French star deeply regretted the incident. After being dismissed in the 38th minute against Alaves, Mbappe apologized to his Real Madrid teammates, particularly Antonio Blanco. The French forward, visibly upset by the events, admitted his mistake in the locker room and expressed remorse for jeopardizing the team’s positive result.
Mbappe made the apology privately in front of the entire team. He also directly approached Antonio Blanco and apologized for the foul that led to his dismissal. The Alaves player accepted the apology without issue.
Although Mbappe’s actions were unjustifiable, prior to the incident, he had received two fouls from opposing players, which provoked him. However, his harsh and unacceptable reaction could result in a four-match suspension.
If the suspension is upheld, the Real Madrid forward will miss El Clasico and the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.
