Arsenal’s Trouble Against PSG Increases
Jurriën Timber was left out of the squad against Bournemouth due to a minor injury and the need for additional rest.
Arsenal’s crucial match against Bournemouth in the 35th round of the English Premier League has begun at the Emirates Stadium under challenging circumstances. Just hours before the game, Jurriën Timber, Arsenal’s Dutch star, was ruled out due to injury.
Timber’s absence from the squad was attributed to preventing the aggravation of a minor injury sustained in last week’s match against Paris Saint-Germain.
However, some sources claim that the Dutch defender may also miss the return leg against PSG in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals due to a muscle strain. This season, particularly in recent weeks, Timber has been a key player for Arsenal, contributing two goals and four assists in 46 matches.
The return leg will take place on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes, where Mikel Arteta’s side, after a 1-0 home defeat in the first leg, must secure a victory against PSG.
