According to reports from the Paris Police Department, a car collided with three people on the Champs-Élysées, resulting in injuries. One of the victims is in critical condition.
During the PSG fans’ celebration on Wednesday after the team’s advancement to the UEFA Champions League final, a car struck three supporters. Police confirmed three injuries, with one in critical condition. In the early hours, the famous street was filled with celebrating fans, but tensions escalated.
At one point, a black sedan entered the Champs-Élysées and hit three fans celebrating their team’s victory. Emergency services quickly attended to the injured, with one transported to the hospital on a stretcher. According to Le Parisien, authorities could not confirm whether the driver was identified or arrested.
A large group of PSG fans rushed toward the car involved in the incident and set it on fire. Firefighters intervened to prevent the fire from spreading. The night in Paris continued with further incidents, including the burning of several stores on one of the city’s most famous streets. What was supposed to be a night of celebration turned into a nightmare due to the actions of a few extremists!
