Amorim Changes Stance: Casemiro No Longer for Sale!

According to reports, Casemiro, the Brazilian midfielder of Manchester United, was initially considered one of the main departures from the Red Devils at the end of the season. However, his outstanding performances in recent matches have completely changed the situation for the former Real Madrid star.

As reported by The Sun, Sá Pinto has been highly satisfied with Casemiro’s recent displays, particularly in the Europa League. Sources close to Manchester United indicate that Sá Pinto now believes Casemiro still has much to offer and considers him a key figure in the club’s revival project for next season.

Sá Pinto has emphasized that Casemiro’s experience, along with his versatility in multiple positions, makes him a valuable asset. This has increased the likelihood of him staying at Manchester United, possibly until the end of his career.

Despite receiving tempting offers from American and Saudi clubs, sources close to Casemiro confirm that he feels comfortable in England and is open to ending his career at the highest level of European football.

Casemiro, earning a weekly wage of £375,000, is one of Manchester United’s highest-paid players. He joined the club in the summer of 2022 from Real Madrid for a fee of £70 million.

He played a crucial role in Manchester United’s journey to the Europa League final, scoring the opening goal in the 3-0 first-leg victory at San Mamés and also netting in the 4-1 second-leg win against Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals. He has been one of the standout performers in this season’s Europa League.
