Al-Hilal has suffered a major setback; Yasser Al-Shahrani will be sidelined for the remainder of the Saudi Professional League due to injury.

Al-Shahrani was injured during Al-Hilal’s recent match against Al-Raed, which ended in a 5-3 victory for Al-Hilal in the 30th round of the league.

Al-Hilal Club announced in a brief statement on its official X platform account: “Medical examinations reveal that Yasser Al-Shahrani has suffered a quadriceps muscle injury and will undergo three weeks of treatment and rehabilitation.”

This injury comes at a time when João Cancelo, another key player, has also been recently injured, leaving Hamad Al-Yami as the only available right-back option for interim coach Mohammed Al-Shalhoub.

Yasser Al-Shahrani has faced multiple injuries in recent years, and it now appears that the Al-Hilal legend may be on the verge of leaving the club due to his prolonged absences.
