Real Madrid ranks last in Transfermarkt’s ranking of domestic scorers in La Liga.

Real Madrid at the Bottom of La Liga

According to “Varzesh3,” this ranking only counts goals scored by domestic players, and for Real Madrid, only two goals have been scored by Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez, both right-backs. Both goals were scored in late September at the Santiago Bernabeu: Carvajal against Espanyol and Vazquez against Alaves. Carvajal’s goal came from an open net after a pass from Bellingham, while Vazquez’s goal resulted from a Vinicius assist after a left-wing penetration. Since then, no other domestic goals have been recorded for Real Madrid.

    Real Madrid's Spanish scorers

Real Madrid has scored a total of 69 goals in La Liga, but only 2.89% of these (two goals) were scored by Spanish players. In contrast, the team has conceded 16 goals from domestic opponents. Notably, Transfermarkt does not count Brahim Diaz as a Spanish national team player due to his representation of Morocco; otherwise, his four goals could have been added to the tally. Additionally, own goals or disallowed goals, such as Marco Asensio’s against Alaves, are not included in this ranking. Most of Real Madrid’s goals have been scored by non-Spanish players like Mbappe (24 goals), Vinicius (11 goals), Bellingham (8 goals), Valverde, and Rodrygo (6 goals each).

    La Liga scorers comparison

In this ranking, Athletic Bilbao leads with 44 goals out of their total 50. The team does not count Inaki Williams’ goals, as he plays for Ghana’s national team. Barcelona follows with 42 goals out of 91, and Villarreal with 37 out of 60. Atletico Madrid ranks 17th with only 5 goals out of 56, while Alaves has an impressive 31 domestic goals out of 35. These statistics highlight Real Madrid’s heavy reliance on foreign players for scoring and their lack of domestic attacking talent.
