They had not only secured the championship but also had high hopes of breaking the record for the most points in a season and remaining unbeaten. However, today’s match was tough for Chelsea, and for most of the game, they were the better team, but it seemed Chelsea might not achieve the invincibility record.

But Chelsea withstood Liverpool’s attacks until the final moments of the match when, with the game still goalless, Aggie Beever-Jones sent the ball into the corner of Liverpool’s net with a precise and beautiful shot.
